I’m very pleased to know that you are showing a great interest in my work. It is my life’s pleasure to help people put into frame their once in a lifetime moments. I know at some point in our lives, we want something to look forward to, and it makes me fulfilled to be a tool for that to happen.

Having any weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and engagement debut soon? Do you simply want to have a family picture taken, or your solo portrait? How about maternity photoshoots or putting into frame that moment when your husband holds your tiny little kid in his arms? No matter what, I can be your photographer to make that happen!

I can even do a spread for the products for your store. How about making the best advertisement photos for that house you are selling? I can assure you, I can make any business more appealing by showcasing the work with high quality images. Are you in the business of selling lawn care equipment in Albuquerque or selling baby clothes in Nashville? I can make those look amazing. Even if you are trying to advertise Las Vegas garage door repair, I can help you out.

I don’t really want to go through the lengthy, and wordy process of promoting my page and myself, but you be the judge. I included here a portfolio for you to check out as you go over my page. These is the product of hard work together with partnering with such amazing individuals, some of which have known me through friends, while others found me simply by asking google’s help [yeah, google is such a powerful tool, and I’m glad it’s promoting me at some point]. I even met some of my clients during my trips, and exploration of different places. Amazing what a trip to the zoo or park could do!

The process even of partnering with these people is amazing! But the results? They are simply not of this world! Look yourself. The finished product tells it all. It’s like telling a story using the art that could be made through your lenses – still pictures with isolated dynamic emotions. You’ll not doubt be able to relive through those emotions again whenever you take the time to glance at those photos.

If that’s not enough, I only choose personal projects. Nothing big really, and nothing mainstream. This is simply not a job for me but a career. So you could expect your photos to not simply be hollow, advertising materials, it is personal, and intimate with a mirror of your souls.

I believe that photographers, like everyone else have their signature style when it comes to their work. Some drift continuously toward the mainstream to accommodate the public demand. This is how I differ from the usual. I only choose projects that matter – projects that are life changing and will make a difference to individuals, or a group.

If you think I am what you are looking for, then send me an email today at contact@heatherbennettphotography.com. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon!

My Personal Project

Hello, everyone!

To tell you, I’m really flattered with the support I’m getting from the community. I’ve been getting so many photography bookings since I’ve started and this field and to that, I am so much humbled. I’ve also met so many people that helped me keep my inspiration every day. It is not often that I get to brush elbows with other professional photographers like me, but when I do, offers for assistance were never lacking.

In fact, I just got finished with my last project where I managed to work with wildlife photographer William Neelah. Although our style varied so much as oranges and apples, the result of the exhibit we launched last month was a success. Everything we worked hard for was returned tonus generously in the form of unexpected profit for the both of us, some of which we even donated to each of our foundations. My partner even managed to bag an award for one of his work entitled ‘Innocence,’ in a prestigious photography contest in Europe, and no person could be prouder than me.

Now, I am launching another project which aims to document the life of a household before and after moving in. I want to capture the struggle, the hardship, the stress of the process and how it culminates in satisfaction and fulfillment after a successful move.

Why this? Simple. Because it features a new beginning not only for one individual but for the whole family. I love seeing life as it unfolds before me, but what is more fulfilling is being able to catch the raw emotions that were present at the time. This is the struggle among photographers and always the challenge. Real emotions are fleeting. With just a blink of the eye, it is gone. What may replace it may not have the same intensity nor the same ‘realness’ in them. The challenge is to catch them unstaged in the frame of your shots. This is exactly what I want to achieve.

I will document through images the process from that time when you start questioning yourself how to find motivated sellers, up to the actual closing of deals, and the real-time moving. How would I do this? I’m still planning but the wheels are already set in motion and I’m already one step closer to starting the project. This will be a personal project for me and for the subjected families as well.

As early as now, I would like to thank you guys for supporting me throughout the process. Looking for the subject is hard enough because it takes a certain vibe for me to know if I find something perfect already for my plans, or I still need to up my game in looking for them.

I’ll be showcasing these at an exhibit I will have with another photographer Niel Graham in October. Actual date and venue still be announced as we are yet to finalize our entries. But like always, I expect to see you guys there!

The Out-of-Towners

I seriously get to meet the best people.  And most of the time, I have no idea why.  Now, I’m not TOTALLY clueless.  But I am also not a super savvy web promoter. So when I get inquiries from strangers, with no word-of-mouth connection to me, I find it really interesting and mysterious.  (ohhh… you found me on the internet? That Google is so cool…) And so far, Google has sent me 100% awesome clients.

These folks are in that group.  They were in town for a family vacation in Scottsdale and wanted to get some extended family photos before a portion of the family moved overseas. Done!  And fun!

I took so many interesting photos of the family in the different beautiful places in Arizona. All of which are going to be a bomb to their friends and their loved ones when they get back to their hometown. I was happy to show them around and highlight all the marvelous places they should see, in the process taking some sort of touristy photos as well that would promote this city as well.

Something Different: PART 1

I just love those moments in life where things easily fall into place. (And, yes, surprisingly, I’m not being sarcastic here. That actually happens sometimes…)

Last fall I received a call from Lauren Snow (a stranger at the time) who needed a photographer for a shoot she was doing to launch her new business. (As her luck would have it, things were not going smoothly and her photographer had to cancel the week before the shoot.) Even though it was the busy season for me, and even though we had never met, and even though I know nothing about make-up (other than how to put it on my own face with varied levels of success) it all came together. (Not to mention, she is the sweetest!)

Lauren, her models (all “normal”, beautiful women) and I all had a fabulous time at the Saguaro Hotel in Scottsdale found in my page are the results.

I also felt honored to get to take this lovely lady’s photo.  Even in the midst of her battle with breast cancer, she was gorgeous.  Just blew me away…
